Empowering Women in Food Preservation in Sousa – Deir ez-Zor

As part of its efforts to enhance women’s participation in society, the Quality and Research Development Organization held an educational activity in Sousa, Deir ez-Zor. This initiative aimed to teach women effective and healthy food preservation techniques. Interactive workshops were offered, covering various methods such as canning and drying, which raised awareness about the importance of preserving food and ensuring its availability throughout the year. This program also provided women with opportunities to exchange experiences and build their capacities, thus strengthening their roles in the economic and social fabric of the community.
